UPON NOTHING

God hangs the planets upon nothing
He calls the stars by their name
One of them God has called 'Wormwood'
This star will bear a great flame.

God hangs the planets upon nothing
To show they were made by his Word
There is no place upon Earth -
Where the sound of their voice is not heard.

God hangs the planets upon nothing
For, from nothing they have been made,
In the beginning God created -
His invisible hand he displayed.

'God hangs the earth upon nothing'
Declares the patience of Job;
The heavens are but as a mantle
And God shall fold them as a robe.

Job 26:7
